In case anyone thought I was exaggerating with my warnings regarding Joel Webbon, I give you this video below. (I don’t know who the woman is who made the reel. It popped up in my feed.) Stuff like this makes me think Webbon is a subversive sent to derail the idea of America being a Christian country. I really do. He has become the face of Christian Nationalism.

Many young Christian men are listening to Webbon and the men associated with him. I strongly encourage you to know who your children and grandchildren are listening to in Christian circles. If you want a list of other men to be wary of, leave a comment and I’ll give you more names.

You can see my other posts tagged: Joel Webbon. Don’t miss the comments on those posts because some of them include quite a bit more.

About Sallie Borrink

I’m a Christian, wife, homeschool mom, battle-seasoned blogger, and happy warrior for Christ. I discuss how Christians who don’t fit dominant institutional church and cultural narratives are already living truthfully and faithfully in the body of Christ.

“Now the Bereans were more noble-minded than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if these teachings were true.” Acts 17:11

25 But Jesus called them aside and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their superiors exercise authority over them. 26 It shall not be this way among you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

Exactly. Webbon gets scripture wrong and takes it totally out of context. Jesus never treated anyone like property man, woman or child. This is not how Jesus intended marriage to be.

A Christian Nation

"The real object of the first amendment was not to countenance, much less to advance, Mahometanism, or Judaism, or infidelity, by prostrating Christianity; but to exclude all rivalry among christian sects, and to prevent any national ecclesiastical establishment, which should give to a hierarchy the exclusive patronage of the national government."

Joseph Story (Associate Justice of the Supreme Court), Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States (1833), § 1871.
